My passion for keeping healthy started the same way it did for many others – playing sport growing up. I played a wide range of sports from 4 years old up until my mid 20’s. In 2003 I certified as Personal Trainer, purely out of personal interest – I really hadn’t considered it a long-term career at that stage. I worked in the building trades until I decided to change careers in 2010 and started working in the Health & Fitness industry and haven’t looked back.

I genuinely love being part of an industry that allows me to lead a healthy lifestyle and be a positive role model for the people around me, this is what gets me out of bed at crazy O’clock 6 days a week.

I’m now working towards a degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology so I can continue to improve community health for years to come.

In my humble opinion, strength training builds a physical and mental resilience that will help you deal with the stresses of life and ultimately – be a happier person, so pursue strength first. Aesthetics will be the by-product of your hard work, commitment & perseverance.
